One of the most prestigious awards on the planet, The World’s 50 Best Bars, is the official directory of the world’s top bars. It is an annual list that celebrates the best of the international drinks industry. Voted for by 650 drinks experts from across the globe, what constitutes ‘best’ is left to the judgment of these trusted and well travelled experts.

The list represents the ultimate international guide to the world’s top bars and drinking destinations. An annual awards ceremony is usually held in London, however, this year to mark the 15th edition of the awards, the event took place in Singapore. Which Is The World’s Best Bar?

Sips in Barcelona has been crowned the best bar in the world for 2023.

Simone Caporale and Marc Álvarez, two of the industry’s most creative minds created Sips in 2021. Just under 2 years after opening it has been named The World’s Best Bar and The Best Bar in Europe. Situated in Barcelona’s Eixample neighbourhood, Sips boasts a welcoming ambiance with pastel pink and green décor, making it a perfect early evening destination that seamlessly transforms as night falls into an intimate and mysterious hideout. Despite its modern bar concept, Sips stands out with an island bar serving as the stage for showcasing the groundbreaking techniques used to craft their remarkable drinks.
