StarDome : Luxury Glass Dome Suites In Peru’s Sacred Valley

Experience the ancient city of Machu Picchu like you have never before. StarDome is a luxurious glass dome retreat nestled in the sister mountain beside Machu Picchu. Located between Cusco and Machu Picchu, 20 min drive from Ollantaytambo.

StarDome Peru offers complete solitude and serenity, thanks to its ultra-remote location which is accessible only through a private road. This sacred location was previously inaccessible to tourists, and now you can touch the stars in this one-of-a-kind glass geodesic dome. This unique luxury hotel near Machu Picchu offers the perfect opportunity to take in the natural beauty of the Andes.

The geodesic dome structure looks just like a big bubble from the outside, but head inside, and you will be treated to pure luxury. From heated marble floors, traditional Inca-inspired decor and tile work from world-renowned Peruvian, Ceramic arctic, Seminario, handmade blankets to a private stone shower.

The property is co-founded and operated in partnership with the local Quechuan community, focusing on immersive cultural, spiritual, and nature experiences rather than just traditional hotel stays

Choose from various different views with suites offering garden views, mountain views as well as the sacred valley view. Our favourite is The Condor Suite (Junior Suite with Mountain View) this is the highest suite offering some of the best panoramic mountain views including Mount Veronica which can be seen from the room.

The Royal Apu Suite (King Suite with Spa Bath) is a stand-alone cabin-style suite set above the dome structure.Offering access to the upper level of the dome, the room features a king-size bed, fireplace, jacuzzi, all whilst offering privacy and panoramic views.
