Worlds first double beds on flights with Qatar Airways
Struggles with sleeping on a flight are something we are all familiar with especially on a long-haul flight. One airline, however, has just changed the game. Yes, that’s right! double beds on flights. It’s no other than Qatar Airway.
Qatar Airway has recently rolled out the world’s first double beds on its flights in business class from London to Doha on the airline’s daily Boeing 777 service. ‘Qsuite‘ which is their new business class cabin allows passengers to recline the two middle seats into a fully lie-flat double bed by removing the partition in the middle.
As if a double bed wasn’t enough Qsuite features partition panels which allows you to turn this into your own mini bedroom with two entertainment screens inside. The suite even features a door and a do not disturb indicator so you are guaranteed a good sleep.
This space is great for families, as well as business meeting or a group of four passengers travelling together. By just moving the partition panels the Qsuite cabin allows you to create your own private area.
Qatar Airways is planning to roll out the Qsuite across its business class flights, with Paris to New York next on the cards.
