Estelle Manor : A Look Inside The Latest Country Club and Hotel In Oxfordshire

Tucked away on a sprawling 60-acre estate surrounded by 3,000 acres of breathtaking Oxfordshire countryside, perched on the Cotswolds’ doorstep, Estelle Manor is a luxurious country house hotel and exclusive members’ club. Set in a Grade-II listed manor house (formerly Eynsham Hall), Estelle Manor serves as the rural counterpart to the exclusive Maison Estelle in Mayfair, London.

Brainchild of Sharan Pasricha, Estelle Manor offers a classic countryside sanctuary with rooms, suites, and cottages across the estate, four restaurants to dine in, a workspace, a gym with a class studio and padel tennis courts, a kids’ club for the little ones and club spaces for the members. With artistic direction from Eiesha Bharti Pasricha, wife of Sharan, the interiors have been beautifully realized by Roman & Williams, Olivia Weström, and AIME Creative Studios, boasting a harmonious blend of refined, modern spaces adorned with art and timeless values.

The Manor House comes into view as you follow the oak tree lined driveway, meandering past acres of pastures. This historic family residence stands as the centrepiece, featuring the welcoming reception hall, a number of guest rooms alongside a living room and library. Although certain exclusive areas are reserved for members only, Estelle Manor also operates as an inclusive luxury hotel available to book for non-members.

Featuring 108 opulent bedrooms and suites, each with vintage furnishings pitched against 20th century pieces and warm, layered lighting. There are several accommodation options on offer; in the grand Manor House, the lush Walled Garden or Stable bedrooms with sweeping views over the southern lawn. The Manor House also features suites which showcase original features, while the spacious Walled Garden suites include separate sitting rooms and Stable Suites feature velvet banquettes and bespoke dining tables.

Additionally, the cottages and private houses ranging from three to six bedrooms are well-suited for groups of friends or families. These inviting spaces blend warmth and comfort with elevated design, providing an ideal setting for gatherings and entertainment.

Stepping outside from the living room’s central bay, you will arrive at the South Terrace, a Riviera-inspired oasis offering commanding views over extensive gardens. This inviting terrace features a 25-meter swimming pool, luxurious sunbeds complemented by hand-crafted umbrellas, and a well-appointed bar. The Manor House is also home to an all-day brasserie, a traditional Chinese restaurant, and a cave cellar with over 5,000 thoughtfully curated bottles hand-picked by Sommelier Matteo Montone.

The vibrant Brasserie, complete with an orangery and a terrace, offers captivating south-facing views of the estate’s grounds. The walls are adorned with hand-painted motifs, and the original wood panelling offers a charming and sophisticated countryside atmosphere. The brasserie serves an all-day menu of seasonal favourites, from Oxford cheddar soufflĂ© and Alaskan king crab, to roasted heirloom cauliflower and beef Wellington.

Complementing the Brasserie, is the Glasshouse which is nestled within the confines of a walled garden and benefiting from a bountiful supply of heritage fruits and vegetables. The bustling all-day kitchen is equipped with an open fire and a generously sized reclaimed-marble island, paired with eclectic blooms and fabric lanterns hanging overhead create a captivating culinary atmosphere. The Glasshouse’s menu is all about sharing, with family-style dining. The Billiards Room, on the other hand offers traditional Chinese fare, the dim sum brunch served at the weekends is perfect for celebrations.

Situated on the eastern side of the estate, The Clubhouse originally served as a racquets court and gymnasium. Today, it stands as the vibrant heart of the manor, offering a variety of amenities for members. The Clubhouse features a dedicated workspace to spark creativity and a kids’ club with active, creative, and tranquil areas.

An extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired bath house and spa, Eynsham baths, is set to open in the coming months complete with sculpted columns and carved marble details. The spa will feature a tepidarium bathing hall, five pools, a lounge, ten treatment rooms, couples’ suites, thermal cabins, and a bar.
