Spectre is not only an historic moment for Rolls-Royce, but also an historic moment for electrification. With Spectre, the marque confirms that the technology has reached a standard that can offer the luxurious Rolls-Royce experience whilst being entirely electric.
It also marks the start of a new era for Rolls-Royce, in which the entire product portfolio will be fully-electric by the end of 2030. With Spectre, Rolls-Royce has entered into a ground-breaking ‘Decentralised Intelligence’ system that allows for the free and direct exchange of information between more than 1,000 vehicle function. The Spectre is expected to have over 300 miles of range and produce over 660 lb-ft of torque, with a 0-60 sprint of 4.4 seconds.
The aesthetic of Spectre is contemporary yet timeless, inspiration is drawn from worlds far beyond automotive, including haute couture, modernist sculpture, nautical design, tailoring and contemporary art. Spectre presents a never-before-seen exterior colour option, Chartreuse, a vivid shade replicating the green tones of the French liqueur originally made by monks in the mountainous region of Grenoble, France.
“The electric car is perfectly noiseless and clean. There is no smell or vibration.” Spectre is the most intelligent Rolls-Royce the marque has ever envisioned. With 141,200 sender-receiver functions, 7 kilometres of cabling, over 25,000 sub-functions, and over ten driver assistance systems.
Inside, Spectre draws inspiration from the timeless mystique of the night’s sky. The interior suite provides an almost endless amount of custom options, much like other Rolls-Royce automobiles. The all-new front seat design has been inspired by British tailoring with lapel sections that can be rendered in contrasting or matching colours to the main base. Seen for the first time on any Rolls-Royce, fully digital Bespoke Instrument Dials are a stunning display of technological craftsmanship. You can select a personalized and complementary dial colour upon commission.
Spectre is available with Starlight Doors, which incorporate 4,796 softly illuminated ‘stars’. Each ‘star’ is positioned by hand, creating a subtle sense of motion within Spectre’s cabin. Alongside the extraordinary, illuminated surfaces, Spectre is equipped with a completely redesigned digital architecture of luxury named SPIRIT, presented in quintessential Rolls-Royce style.
