Croatia

June is one of the best times to visit Croatia as there is plenty of sunshine, the days are longer and June is still considered off-peak so it is not crowded. Some of the popular destinations to visit in Croatia are Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, Zagreb and of course no Croatian trip would be complete without visiting the Croatian islands. Some of the popular island worth visiting are Hvar, Vis and Brac. 

Mykonos

June offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the island of Mykonos the weather is warm and the water is perfect for swimming. Mykonos is Greece’s answer to Ibiza, it is a party lovers dream with plenty of clubs to choose from. Mykonos has a lot more to offer than its reputation for nightlife. There’s a beach to suit every mood from secluded coves, sandy beaches to party beaches along with waterfront restaurants with fantastic views. The town of Mykonos still holds its charm and the traditional Greek way of living with whitewashed buildings, bustling with cafes, shops and vendors selling the local produce. 

New York

New York is one of those cities which need no introduction. The best time to visit New York is in June when the temperature is mild and the crowds are not as overwhelming. This city has the best of everything on offer from restaurants, bars, art, museums and much more.

The glistening skyline, good ol’ Lady Liberty, Times Square, the leafy Central Park are what makes this city so iconic and worth a visit.

Lake Como

Best for: Romantic getaway, Landscape and Views

Lake Como is one of the most popular and romantic lakes in the world. It is easy to see why the likes of George Clooney and Richard Branson have decided to make Lake Como their destination of choice for a holiday home, however, Lake Como is not just for the rich and famous. There are plenty of things to see and do for everyone. 

One of the best times to visit Lake Como is in June when the temperature is warm and the sun shines the most. The sun glistening on the lake with the dramatic mountainous backdrop and the mist in the air is a truly magical sight. Lake Como is one of those places where views are guaranteed to remain vivid in your mind for a long time.

The lake is dotted with small towns such as Varenna, Bellagio, Menaggio, Tremezzo which are worth exploring. 

Edinburgh 

Although it is known to rain in Edinburgh all year round June tends to be drier and warmer making it a great month to explore the city. Edinburgh is a cosmopolitan city with a rich architectural heritage and history. It is a compact city which can be covered by foot but don’t let that fool you, there is plenty on offer, from amazing views, country walks, hidden courtyards, secret gardens and castles. It doesn’t end there Edinburgh now has five Michelin-starred restaurants and a buzzing nightlife to offer too.

Bali 

Bali’s dry season occurs between the months of May and September, July to September tend to be the busiest months making June a great time to visit Bali. The tropical paradise of Bali has something for everyone from luxury hotels, culture, pristine beaches and waterfalls, rice fields, Instagrammable eateries, nightlife and much much more. Bali is known as the island of God’s thanks to the rugged coastlines and dramatic mountains. 

Destinations in Bali worth visiting are Uluwatu – for surfing and waves, Ubud – for rice fields and cafes, Kuta – to experience the chaos of the city and nightlife, Nuda Dua – for luxury hotels, Lombok and Gili Island – for getting lost in natures beauty.

Malta and Gozo

Malta and its sister island of Gozo is the perfect destination for uninterrupted sunshine. One of the best times to visit this island is in June when the temperature is warm but not too hot.
